Suzume

Suzume found herself born in a single parent household, with her mother working two part-time jobs to try and get food on the table. During the long days where she would be left alone at home, she would watch the news for hours on end and while never paying attention to the actual events being talked about, she was enthrawled by the people reporting on them, taking notes of everything they did. Very soon she discovered the gossip news side of reporting and decided to open her own gossip blog where she would discuss all the latest rumours from her high school. The story that made her break out was a report on the school's principal embezzlemnt of school funds. The story ended up on the local news and brought more eyes on her blog, where she very quickly started work on reporting on more local high-profile cases until she was scouted by a news network for their gossip division. She had a prolific carreer there, migrating her site to a self made server and writing stories for the network in tandem until the very day she was scouted for Hope's Peak Academy.

Once in Hope's Peak, Suzume ended up forced into a classroom, drugged and relocated onto Prattle Mountain Sky Resort along with her 15 other classmates, where she was forced to participate in a killing game orchestrated by Headmaster Kajikuma. She would emerge as one of the survivors.
