He’s short, he’s scrawny, he’s nerdy, and he’s scary, he’s Yowai! With stuttering and clumsiness, he’s an absolute trainwreck. He’s always nervous, teeming to the brim with anxiety, and simply wants to be a little more chill. He has problems speaking up, and when he does he has problems conveying his feelings fully. Interestingly though he feels more confident when no one can see him in his human state, and wearing a mask helps with his anxiety.

Goliath Beetle

He turns into a Goliath beetle in a magnificent 5 second transformation of curling up into a ball and forming a shield around him, bursting out as a Goliath Beetle. When he was young it was a larva, but now I’m high school the beetle is a full grown one. He turns specifically into a Goliathus goliatus. They are typically 2.1 to 4.2 inches long, weighing in at 1.7 ounces. They are capable of lifting 850 times its own weight! This specific species can actually fly using wings folded under and they have a Y shaped horn. When this boy turns into a Goliath beetle it is a huge size. This beetle transformation is about 78 inches long, weighing in at 165 pounds. It can lift up to 140,250 pounds. It has powerful strength. A giant ass bug. The user is fully aware of what he is doing in the beetle form and can turn back by enclosing himself in a ball in the same about 5 second long transformation to explode out of the humongous ball. He grew up in a rural sort of area, surrounded by plenty of nature and peace. He had no problems getting through school in fact, no one seemed to pay him any mind. When he saw a poster for UA hanging up he became interested, and did the research to apply. “Are you sure you want to be a hero?” His mother asked him when he told her about the choice. The discouraging comment aside, with his amazing beetle ability he passed the physical entrance exam, and got an average score on the test. His sister teasing him that he couldn’t be a hero with stage fright and be scared to talk to people, but he figured as a beetle he wouldn’t have to. He discovered that wearing a mask helped him handle his fears when he was casted as an extra for a middle school play, which he did with ease. Being up on stage with a mask well, he didn’t feel so bad!
