This Clan is stereotyped as cautious and supercilious. They are typically mildly strict about rules, extremely secretive and not aggressive towards outsiders.
Snakeclan cats consider themselves to have superior fighting skills than the other clans, and they live up to their ego, as they rarely ever suffer a defeat, and are feared by the other clans.

Territory
SnakeClan's hunting grounds are in a network of valleys with a river flowing through them. The valleys are mostly covered in rocky moors. There is grassland to the north, and a small lake to the southeast.
SnakeClan's territory is usually warm and sunny in Newleaf, hot and sunny in Greenleaf, warm and rainy in Leaf-fall, and cold and snowy in Leafbare.
Camp
Camp is surrounded by thickets woven by warriors. First sight upon entering the camp is the huge stones worn by rain and time, embedded with claw marks and history.
The fresh-kill pile is kept in a shady spot by the warrior's den. Cats can find fresh water in the pool formed by the small waterfall inside camp.
The leader makes announcements from a stump, which sits in the middle of camp. It acts as their den as well.
The nursery is protected in an old burrow. Apprentices sleep within a hollowed boulder/rock. The warriors sleep in a thick sedge wall. The medicine cats sleep and store their herbs in a thick sedge wall. The elders get to rest under a low growing juniper.
Each den has a flower or herb weaved and stuffed into the corners and into the walls themselves; a ritual blessing by the medicine cats to protect those inside and all they represent.

This clan was founded by Tortisestar around 8 seasons ago. Tortisestar was a courageous tom who is well known and often spoken of. There have been 6 leaders since.
Naming
Kits are usually named after a recently deceased cat, even from another clan.

The deputy is elected by a vote.
Kits are usually mentored by a relative of theirs.
Belief
SnakeClan believes that cats who die go to StarClan or the Dark Forest, depending on what they've done, giving lives to leaders and living together until forgotten.

The Story of Butterflyflight - Butterflyflight was an ancient medicine cat of the clan who helped establish balance with the other clans.

This clan knows how to predict the weather. And is very close to the past, they ancestros from the sea (Tribe of the Depths).
