Towers Of Wax, often shortened to TOW or simply "Wax", is a polite and modest iterator and one of the youngest in their local group. TOW cares greatly about how others percieve them, often staying quiet about their opinions and forgoing their own desires for the sake of others' approval. They're a diligent worker when they put their mind to something, but has since loosened up on some of their work after the Mass Ascension of their creators.

As well as being tasked with finding a solution to The Great Problem, Towers Of Wax was built to sort, categorise, and store important records and data for the Ancients should the traditional method of pearl storage become obsolete after the Mass Ascension. It is a role that they take great pride and enjoyment in, even if they wouldn't admit so publically for fear of sounding egotistical. They continue to carry out this function to the best of their ability by sending overseers to record footage and consulting other iterators for any worthwhile information they may have. TOW continues to work on The Great Problem despite failing to see the need to do so and often spends time observing various communications boards and chatrooms instead, although sparsely interacting with them directly.
Abilities
Mark of Communication: Like most other iterators, TOW is capable of bestowing the Mark of Communication onto other creatures.- Forced removal:They are able to kill creatures that may enter their chamber, although they deem this action unnecessarily cruel.

The material that their body is made of is somewhat matte.- Their atennae are able to swivel to aid in emoting.
- Their cloak is similar in texture to canvas, albeit softer.

"I try not to get too emotional about the topic, but sometimes I just can't help myself. I miss Wathcing Through Clouds deeply. Deeper than words can express."
Towers Of Wax considers Watching Through Clouds to be their closest friend. The two have spent a lot of time together, collabarating on projects and discussing various subjects both work-related and not. When WTC suddenly ceased communication, TOW grew increasingly concerned for their wellbeing; unbeknownst to them, their friend's structure had completely collapsed, rendering them unable to contact the local group directly. This event left TOW deeply upset and as a result they withdrew into themself, interacting with other iterators less and putting more focus into their work.
"My thoughts on Quiet Observation? Well, If I'm being completely honest... he's not my favourite iterator to speak to. I know it's not his intention, and in the few instances I have needed his assistance he has been very helpful, but he's snobby! An air of superiority hangs about him - which isn't entirely unfounded, he is a senior in the local group - it just leaves a bad taste in my... I'm sure you get the metaphor. Just... don't tell him I said any of that."
"Hm? What is - oh, a.. visitor? What an intruiging little thing you are...
"Excuse me, I am not aqcuainted with your kind. Allow me a moment..."
"I do have to wonder what brings you here. There is nothing I can give you that you would have any means of comprehending - not that I think you lack the intelligence, mind you. I simply get the impression you aren't interested in what I can provide. And.. is that a helmet that you are wearing? Did you make it yourself, or did you procure it by some other means?"
"In any case, I'm impressed that you managed to journey this far; if your stature is to suggest anything, it's that you aren't intended for long distance travel."
At first, TOW didn't know what to make of the dirt-covered creature that wandered into their facility, but it was the Spelunker who informed them that Watching Through Clouds was still functional, and for that they are extremely grateful. They've grown fond of the slugcat and are friendly in their few exchanges, even offering for it to return should it ever desire the company. Occasionally, TOW employs the Spelunker's help in sharing news with WTC.

Miscellaneous
The name "Towers Of Wax" is an allusion to candles, as well as the impermanence of Ancient society as a whole. It came to me on a whim and the name stuck.
