Kasper Pierson

The protagonist of the story, and a bit of a sycophant. He strives to be helpful and do the right thing, though it's slightly more for his own self-satisfaction and self-image, striving to be an "ideal knight," rather than out of true selflessness. He purposefully plays up a "nice boy next door" persona in order to try and gain people's trust and admiration.

He tends to get stuck in a certain mindset and have difficulties admitting when he's wrong if he thinks he was being helpful. As well, he has a tendency to overwork himself or overcompensate, worrying that he's not "good enough" if he's not consistently busy.

However, if you gain his trust and become a person he counts as a friend, you can count on him to come to your defense and encourage you, no matter the time or place, and will never allow those he cares about to be insulted in his presence.
