  • Sorashi

A goofy high school student whose passion and love for space and all things in it surpasses all else. One fateful day, Sorashi received their very own Stand ability, a glimmering blue scarf with glowing green eyes that can act on its own. However, with no knowledge of Stands, Sorashi's assumption is that they have simply woken up after an alien encounter. They believe this scarf, dubbed "Phenomenon", is an intergalactic being that is now locked in symbiosis with them. With this in mind, they immediately (and very excitedly) take up a role as a self-proclaimed hero. Phenomenon's ability works by disguising objects with a touch. The form of the object becomes vague and will assume different forms depending on what the person looking at the object perceives it as. For example, if Sorashi disguises a cardboard tube and then speaks as if they're holding a baseball bat, as long as the other person believes this story, they will clearly see a baseball bat. Using this ability, Sorashi makes up stories that are untrue and then "proves" them as true to earn the trust of others. This is not done out of malice, however. They genuinely believe that quickly earning the trust of others will help them be a more effective hero in the long run.

Sorashi is enthusiastic and friendly along with being quick-witted and good at thinking on their feet. Easy to get along with as long as you can keep up with their mischief. However, they often lose track of the stories they create, potentially creating consequences they did not consider. They have a bit of 'main character syndrome', believing themself to be the hero of the story. Their trusted sidekick (aside from their 'alien scarf') is their pet ferret, Omi. Sorashi also suffers from prosopagnosia, or face blindness, being unable to differentiate faces. They are, however, decent at picking up on voices.
