Potoopaw  She/her Shadeclan Apprentice

Daughter of Shellsun and Fayewatcher, younger sister of Briardapple, Snowleap, and Mothmumble.

Being the only sibling born at a different time, she never really felt connected to Briar or Moth, but she really looks up to her brother. 

When Snowleap got older and no longer needed his mother to accompany him on his frequent walks through the territory he started taking Potoo with him instead. Although she's not really interested in being a helper like her brother, Potoo allowed him to teach her basic herbs and she enjoys helping him do odd jobs around camp like rebuilding dens and organising the prey pile. 

It may look like there's no thought behind those big amber eyes but Potoopaw tends to overthink things a lot which makes daily life (learning to hunt + battle moves, talking to others, etc.) much harder than it really should be. If anything she does isn't done well enough it really effects her, and despite being a kind and outgoing cat she finds talking to and understanding the intentions of other cats very difficult. Her family frequently has to remind her that everything is okay and help her get things done, if they didn't she'd probably spend days stressing over small things like whether she performed a battle move correctly or if she cleaned a den well enough.

Potoo is pretty crafty, when her family's collections get too large and other cats start to complain about them, instead of throwing things away, she'll use them to make unique objects that take up less space and then gifts them back to her family/friends. If Potoo gifts you one of her creations it means that you mean a lot to her, because of this anyone who gets one is very proud to own it.
