it's my first purple-eyed lil guy! i couldn't resist the unrealistic impulse this time...

They/them, missing right foreleg. Became medic after their extended stay in the medic den got them interested in herbs and psychedelics (to meet Starclan, officially, but most medics just have fun with them when it's not ceremonial). So they didn't fight too hard when the leader officially named them unfit for Warrior duty.

But Petal has refused to take on any apprentice that hasn't expressed joy and interest in becoming a medic, despite the leader and deputy's insistence. Examples of refused apprentices: a born-Deaf apprentice, a similarly disabled Warrior as Petalshade (who is actually still performing well at her warrior duties, despite the lost leg and others' doubts), and Yewpaw, initially. Petal thought that Yew was being thrust upon them because she was a little odd, but then Yew was like "hey I actually really want to do this" so Petal allowed it.

Direct and unempathetic to uninjured cats, Petalshade is generally unliked by Warriors (unless they're hurt). So Petal has been very effective at continuing to take care of the obstinate Ashstar every week despite his own will. It's not like he could really fight them off, though. Even missing a leg, Petal can be very effective in a fight.
