Eddie was the player character of a university student who tried to choose study over games, if he had not done this Eddie probably would have been level 40 at least in game, although after the corruption happened levels didn’t matter. Eddie alongside a few others on his team were transferred into robots. As a warning one member of their group was destroyed and had their drive transferred to Benny. Two weeks after this incident Eddie was mostly destroyed, giving his drive to Ryder and Keane so that he could live even if he was just transferred to a speaker (which he was for a time until he got his new body).
