Moonshine is a very bitter and sarcastic guy, always quick to backtalk and snark at anyone they don't like. They're not the friendliest of people, quite the antisocial and staying as far away from any social situation as possible. Their albinism doesn't help them get some fresh air either, leading to them sticking to indoors most of the time and only going out if they really need it. Even if you somehow manage to befriend them, they'll still be just as bitter and snarky as usual, the only real change being a reduced amount of backtalk and insults, the only clear sign that they don't really hate your guts.

- (BNHA AU) Chemistry Manipulation: their quirk allows them to ingest any chemical substance without side effects, to then allow them to produce the same substance from their own body until digestion is completed. Overuse of this quirk can lead to chemical burns and relayed injuries, and swallowing a large amount at once or in a very short time frame can become very dangerous for them, depending the chemical.

No one knows about Moonshine's past, only able to speculate about what has made them so bitter and angry.
In truth, Moonshine just refuses to let anyone know about the life they saw go up in smokes in under a day. It was a normal childhood, with an average family made up by themselves and their parents, somehow always managing to pull through the tough times. With a fascination for science and a passion for learning and experimenting since a young age, a once bright eyed and passionate Moonshine had been aiming for chemistry for a long time, eventually managing to get into a prestigious college with nothing but their own effort.
What they didn't know was what exactly had helped their family through the hard times. A loan from the wrong people was all it took for everything to go to hell.
A few days after graduating from college, Moonshine was kidnapped, not a single trace left behind and their home set on fire. They never found out what happened to their family, only that they had to work for these criminals to pay off the accumulated debt- their brand new skills with chemistry would come in handy for their business, after all.
As many would do, Moonshine refused at first, spat and yelled and fought, refusing to help the ones that had likely just murdered their family over some money. They even tried to run away at some point, wanting nothing more than to get away from these bastards. They were caught and brought back within hours, paying for their misbehavior with their eye.
Moonshine hasn't tried to act out anymore. They threw away their name and lost life, working for their captors, growing number and number to whatever they were told to do, no matter how unethical or illegal it may be. With the assurance that they would be found and brought back no matter where they went or what they tried, Moonshine was allowed to at least fake having something resembling a normal life outside, as long as they kept their word and fulfilled their new duty.
After years of hell, they have grown bitter and hateful, their only objective to get back to the bastards that destroyed their old life without a care- as violently and painfully as possible.
