Desirée Lachapelle is a tiny cupid with a big heart! She has a strong belief that everyone deserves love and someone to share that love with in their lives. She provides hospitality to those who feel down and shower them with comfort. Due to her past experiences, Desirée always has tips and advice to share with people who need help maintaining healthy and long lasting relationships. If a bond is growing stressful and things aren't going right between the two people, Desirée would use her love arrows. It's highly unlikely she’ll use them for "love at first sight" relationships.
In her spare time, Desirée would experiment with different hairstyles, outfit combinations, makeup, and nail designs. Fashion and cosmetics are ways she uses art to express herself and convey hidden feelings. For example, she’ll wear red if feeling lustful or if she senses a relationship going to flare. Besides dolling up, Desirée makes her own chocolates and truffles as gifts for dear friends. She also pampers her rose garden with great care. With different colored roses symbolizing different feelings, Desirée is the go-to-girl for freshly grown roses!
When in a bond with someone she really likes, Desirée would step herself up to play the dominant role. She’ll sneak flattery and tease to test her partner’s confidence in their own well-being. If her partner is someone who easily grows flustered, she’ll tone down her actions. As patient as she has been throughout past broken bonds, Desirée yearns to win a heart needing tender care. - She does not promote any manipulative behaviors to her clients that involve gaslighting, unconsentual sex, cheating, or neglecting the mental and emotional needs of their partners.

Desirée was a born miracle raised with love in Silverbrooke. She was a gift to her barren parents by a witch —with an unknown price: she will be a wee little cupid and grow up no taller. It didn't take them very long to find out when Desirée stopped growing after 5 years of age. Her parents worried about her at first. Throughout her elementary school days she would sometimes be found coming home with a teacher’s note, remarking the consistent bullying boys in her class had lashed because of her short height. Not only did Desirée receive support from her parents but also the girls in her classes. In fact they saw her as a friendly fairy who just loves to have fun like any other girl. They’d share sweets and roleplay during recess; if they’re feeling naughty they’d tease or flirt with the boys to mess around with them. School was only just one of the open doors to a beautiful world, but her lifestyle at home said otherwise.
It was stressful having their daughter hover all over the place for Desirée’s parents. Her angel-like wings grew bigger and stronger, allowing her to fly farther and faster. She was lectured often of flying away from their watch. It exhausted them both. Knowing nothing of cupids or of their mythology, they turned to family for help. Fortunately, a friend of her uncle’s is a skilled archer and trained Desirée the use of the bow and arrow at his place. With her adventurous spirit, she caught on quickly. It was when she mastered the use of the arrows that the witch repaid 14-year-old Desirée a visit. She supplied her with countless love arrows for her to use and sent Desirée to Paris, France, where all the other cupids are gathered to achieve the same goal: sharing and spreading love around the world.

Whenever they have the chance to meet, Desirée loves to style Tia's hair and dolly her up in accessories. She spares her time comforting Tia and help her cope with her social anxiety. Desiree is sure to make Tia feel safe and secure with her around, no matter the circumstances they're in.
She checks up on Angelica whenever she could, especially after learning about the abusive relationship she was involved in. Since then, the two have kept in touch whenever they could and exchange small gifts and cards to each other. Desirée keeps a careful eye on her when it comes to trying again at love. She doesn't wish for Angelica to fall into the wrong hands again.

Being friends with Angelica was what got these two to click not too long after. Desirée was the first to learn of Teresa's crush on her, in which she fully supports. (WIP)
