Past

Konan was born to human parents who abandoned her at birth. She was taken in by a vampire who was visiting the grave of his human wife. She grew up on planet Geminus. This is a world were human evolution took a stride into the supernatural. The vampire nobles she grew up around saw her as a novelty. Obsessing over her, and treating her like a glass doll. Konan's adoptive father raised her to live in the high vampire society he'd brought her into. He taught her to sing and dance. She could play the cello and act the part of a proper lady. However, the young human wanted to truly be like the creatures she'd always considered her own.  At the age of 20, after several years of pleading, she was turned by her father. This involved risking her life. There was a risk that she was going to die, but she took the risk so she could be reborn into the creature she felt she should have always been.

After her fathers sudden disappearance, Konan took to traveling with one of his long time friends. The two girls became close as they explored places she'd have never seen otherwise. She came to know Geminus and it's people well and eventually grew less resentful of the planet she had been born unto, earth. The woman she'd come to consider as her family fell in love during their travels and settled down. This left Konan alone for the first time in her life.

She returned to the fortune that'd been left to her and took her place as a vampiric noble. Though she wasn't accepted. Vampire society ran as a patriarchy. A woman who lived with no husband and controlled her assets was considered a disgrace. Konan hated that her sex made a difference in how others viewed her ability to live. She forced her way into the military. She was determined to have her strength and power known.

Present

In current days Konan works in the council of the king. She is the adviser of war and strategy. After a long military carrier it was undeniable that she had a gift at navigating a battle field, but she's still usually ignored. She's mostly just there to posture and pretend like she's doing something. It's a job she hates, but hopes that when the time comes that her high position will be of use to her.

Konan's ability to cook is lack luster. She has a maid to keep her fed and company. Otherwise she'd be alone in the small mansion she grew up in. During the times she's not responding to letters from other nobles or working at the castle she's usually keeping her muscles in shape or wandering the area around the capital city of Trăi.

She has one friend. A local doctor who she's known for ages named Raven. Raven was the second son of her old traveling companion, who's long dead. She spends much of her time in the capital in Raven's clinic. She watched the baby become a man and considers him as her closest friend. The vampire-angel half breed with a kindred heart makes a good shoulder to cry on when she's considering that she's been alive far too long to keep going.
