Dom

A true thirst for vengeance can break a man, make him do crazy things, and even bring him back from the brink of death. Such is the case with Dominique Bach-Heyesion, the "Stray Dog" of the Azure Maw, the one soldier in the savage Kade Rodigan's crew who he has no power to control via Aether. Though he seems to be the only fighter among the infamous band of corsairs to work with his own sense of honor, picking targets carefully and rarely mistreating prisoners, the fact that he chooses willingly to work under the thumb of the cutthroat warlord only serves to raise more questions than it answers, prompting more than a few rumors among those who speak in hushed whispers of the Blue Captain's exploits. Does Kade have dirt on him? Maybe he keeps an important prisoner to ensure the rogue Dom's subservience?

None dare seek out Dom himself, and certainly not Captain Rodigan, to inquire further on such matters. What is known about the powerful Canid is this: His combat skills are formidable, his cunning is second to none, and his greatest driving force is retribution, an endless quest for reprisal against the one rival he could never defeat. But defeat him he will, if it takes the use of weaponry that destroys his own body, and even the possibility of giving up his humanity completely to do so.

Dom can sometimes be found onboard the Azure Maw, but often he is more readily found on solo journeys through Border Space as well as occasional trips to Arcturus. What he does there and who he meets with are known only to Dom himself...
