Personality

If Paris was one word it would be "ripshit". He's exactly what one would expect of someone used to being inhibited all their life by outside forces (instead of developing their own sense of self-regulation) suddenly being granted freedom on a silver platter. He's an unrepentant hedonist and is quick to mock just about anyone who disagrees with his plans, even when they are the voice of reason. 

Despite this, he's actually quite intelligent and knows when to pick his battles. Paris is difficult to anger or at the very least never shows it, even moreso than Taylor. He maintains his glib, fae-like composure even in deadly situations.

History

Long before he transitioned and became known as Paris, he (birth name unstated) was a house slave who belonged to an incredibly wealthy noble on the northern shores of Cyprus (island in the East Mediterranan off the coast of Lebanon). The large estate overlooked the sea and Paris could watch the ships as he did food prep and cleaned clothing for his master's family. It comes as no surprise then that the sea became associated with freedom in Paris' mind. And one day it delivered just that. At the age of 15, Paris saw something rather curious on the shore: a strange copper-colored shellfish with fins and a beak-like mouth tangled in flotsam and fishing debris. Paris freed it and was intrigued by its spines with intricate patterns. The act of kindness and one stroke was enough to strike a bond with the beast which returned to take him in 5 years.

Paris now is captain of the ship χρυσός Καινεύς (Chrysós[Golden] Caeneus).
