his band and cynth, dawn, and shan’s are rivals because they’re both from the same small town. him and cynth have a weird relationship of being rivals (as they are both the guitarists and singers) but they’re also friends. once they start dating in '87, lexxi is super head over heels, pussy whipped in love with cynth. even though he's also a huge rockstar, they're very "she's everything--he's just lexxi" core. if they go somewhere together, he follows her around like a lost puppy. hes a little pathetic. (he had a crush on her since high school but wanted to experience the rockstar lifestyle [groupies] but it never fully went away) <3

BASIC STORYLINE:

‘83-’84 (senior year):

Lexxi (then more known as Jeff), Jamii, (James) and Mack formed their hair metal band Hellhound in their senior year of high school. Jamii and Mack live in a trailer together, and Lex is there so often he might as well too. The guys aren’t bullied quite as much as the girls, but they’re still not popular. They’re the type of guys that school girls would all get with in secret, but wouldn’t want anyone to know.

Summer of ‘84-’85

The boys move to LA after graduation, and although Jamii was very hesitant to throw himself into the life of a rockstar, Lex was able to convince him that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and that college could come later. People love a group of hot guys flaunting their shit on stage, especially when the music isn’t too bad either. But the biggest source of fame has come from their feud with Succubus. Everyone is obsessed with the tension between the bands, and especially the tension between their frontmen. Lexxi develops a pretty bad drug problem once they get big, which causes a lot of internal issues with the band.

‘86-’87

Hellhound gets pretty big within the scene–there are lots of girls trying to make their way backstage, and that’s a pretty good marker of musical success. Cynth and Lexxi start dating in early ‘87, but they’ve decided to play a game with the press: pretend they still hate each other for as long as they can. Both bands are touring the country, and starting to do shows around the globe. Cynth helps Lex with his addiction when they get together.
