Notes: 
-Maerius loves anything he deems "pretty" and enjoys adorning himself in accessories. He chooses new ones just about every day.
-He finds himself naturally attracted to Gems of higher rarities than himself.
-His favorite hobby is "collecting" things, and is the reason why he always carries around a pouch to carry things in. He loves gifts as well and will keep anything given to him.
-When he's not scavenging items he can be found trying to beat his top swimming speed; and he will sometimes imitate the swimming styles of other creatures underwater to see if they are more effective.
-Maerius has never grown gems out of his skin; though he knows it as a natural process, he finds it too ugly to undergo himself.
-Maerius doesn't like to leave the water ever unless he is meeting friends or going to work. He does, however, really enjoy receiving gifts that come from the surface.
-Maerius was the one who got Tikki into the performing arts.
-He used to date Iridescus; since the two had a falling out, an animosity has grown between them.
