Kenji is a character in "Kisses and Gunshots". He's an offspring of a renowed Mafia family, the Hayatos. His main role is to take care of tactics and negotiatons. He does not often get in contact with the darkest sides of the family, but he's brilliant with guns actually.
Kenji is very smart and more than often shows off that he's smart. He's much of a smart aleck who corrects all false information immediately and holds a lot of lectures on basically everything. He fails to gain a lot of respect from his peers though and is often walked all over. A fact that irritates him to no end. Kenji is also incredibly serious, often fails to understand jokes and follows all sorts of protocols given to him.

They get a long greatly to be honest and appreciate each other's company a lot. Aiko is relieved that there's one Hayato-son who doesn't plan on marrying her and Kenji is very fond of Aiko'S leadership skills.
