| Power fluctuation | Sara is able to amplify or repress the powers of other mutants within a 20-foot radius of herself. The mutation cannot be 'turned off', and if she isn't actively altering someone's powers, any mutant within her radius is subject to frequent energy surges, resulting in erratic and uncontrollable fluctuations in their powers. The effect is constant while she is asleep or unconscious, but if she's awake she is able to concentrate her power on a single object or person. |
| Heat changes | if an object is in contact with Sara's skin, she can alter its energy and temperature. She is able to melt things or set them on fire by creating a massive surge in energy, or flash-freeze something by doing the opposite. It works best on liquids and conductive solids like metal, and not at all on gases. |
Sara is the adoptive mother of Eris. She briefly attended Professor X's school, but left after less than a year because of the destructive nature of her mutation when in the presence of other mutants. She can be stern, but has a soft spot for Eris and other young mutants. She has a mischievous streak, much like her daughter, and will gladly join in when Eris decides to prank a neighbour. She's caring and selfless, and will occasionally forgo paying power bills to buy food for the local homeless shelter. However, she has no tolerance for thieves or liars. She always carries a selection of small steel marbles which she uses as focus points for her ability, which cannot be turned off. She alternates heating and cooling a marble to avoid messing with the energy of other objects. They are also extremely useful as weapons (think scalding-hot ball of metal flying at your eye socket).
