background
Elian grew up with a surprisingly comfortable lifestyle. His father became a dignitary when he was young, meaning his family was well respected. However, when he was 11 his mother went missing on a trip to Avillian; a kingdom with rising tensions. Elian continued to hold out hope that his mother was alive, despite being told differently by his father and less patient brother. After the news of his mothers disappearance his father slowly became more and more withdrawn from his children; focusing more on his work and the war that was building with Avillian.
