quinton “qu” graham is a pretty average kid. despite not being a star inventor, he does his best. he is completely comfortable in his world, and thankful for all the system has given him. things like rebellion, or even questioning the meaning behind the society he lives in makes him uncomfortable. as he gets older, his friends become more and more rebellious, and he is pressured to do the same. qu is torn. but because his friends are people, versus the machines that enforce the rules of the system, he is more swayed by their arguments. He starts go out with them to the stores and parties. One of these such nights is when disaster strikes.
