Tigresa ✦

Before becoming the devil she was, Tigresa was born as the daughter of wealthy parents, her father being a poacher for the black market. Due to his profession, the poacher had to often move his family between homes, which eventually took a toll on his daughter.  She had to be home schooled due to the constant relocating so she kept no friends, so Tigresa would often create her own mischief at home for entertainment. But Tigresa did have a soft spot for animals, not knowing the irony of her father's true work just yet.

When Tigresa was in her early teens, she began hearing noises from a warehouse her father kept at one of their "work trip" homes, and upon investigation discovered multiple endangered animals in cages. At first she was going to confront her father in a rage, but decided to plan on reporting him to the authorities and animal rescuers to come and safely relocate the animals. 

After submitting her report to authorities Tigresa planned to catch her father and his associates in the act. She hid and waited in the warehouse, when her father and a team brought in a large cage covered with a cloth and growling coming from underneath. The poacher removes the cloth, to reveal a mystical tiger he'd been hired to search for at an extremely high price. The tiger walks around the cage, and notices Tigresa. As they made eye contact, Tigresa became overwhelmed with a fierce sense to take every man down and free the tiger. Just as the poacher was about to sedate the beast for transport, one of the associates appears to warn of authorities showing up at the house. In the commotion of planning an escape, Tigresa sneaks to the mystical tiger's cage and frees the beast. The poacher notices, and assumes the tiger broke free to harm his daughter. So he readies a tranquilizer gun, but the tiger is already approaching for an attack, but before harm could come to the poacher, Tigresa shoves her father out of the way and takes the slash instead. As she fell to the floor bleeding out, the poacher is forced to flee the scene.

Tigresa locks eyes with the mystical tiger, as the beast approached her and licked her wounds clean, instantly healing them. As she continued lying in pain, she began feeling a sense of hatred. Hate for her father, what he did, lying about it, making him love her so she'd sacrifice herself for him despite him deserving it, and then she felt another emotion: sympathy, for the tiger and all the other animals captured and harmed by her father. That's when the tiger opens and reveals a third eye, sending Tigresa into a trance, time seemingly stops as she communicates telepathically with the beast.
"You sympathize with us for our deaths by the hands of your very man? I see, you share the same feelings of hatred and remorse as we do.. Then perhaps you can help right the wrongs they have done on us, and so I shall bestow my power onto you." Tigresa then felt an overwhelming surge of energy inside her, and she passes out.

Tigresa awakens near a pond, among a streak of calm tigers. But instead of fearing for her life, she feels a sense of sociably calmness and more comfortable than she's felt with any other group. She looks into the pond, shocked at the transformation she's undergone: her scars now healed, her eyes replaced with blue tiger eyes, two pointy horns on her head, and a zebra patterned demon tail. She recalls the encounter with the mystical tiger, and assumes her new "form" is included in the bestowed power. What exactly the power was though, she was unsure of. Tigresa then remembers her father, and learns from a news source that a huge ring of illegal animal trading had been caught, with all the animals being saved and relocated. However, the poacher behind it all and his daughter were still reported missing, with the daughter's blood found at the scene. Tigresa is relieved at the results of her actions, but vows to still search for her father and put a stop to him. Which she suspects has no idea she's still alive, so he won't be expecting his daughter to be hunting for him.

The last time Tigresa saw the tiger was during her near death experience. But she recalls a dream after that, where the mystical beast told her she now possessed the "Tiger's Strength", a power of one of the "Roaring Panthera". Now that Tigresa was one of them, she would be capable of tracking the others to aid her cause, if she desired. The tiger said the one who wields the "Lion's Pride" may be the easiest as he's starting to make quite the name for himself. 

Thinking back at first, Tigresa wasn't quite sure what she meant. Until, she overheard someone talking about a new, hot fashion brand named Pryde started by an indie designer named Paris. It felt too obvious to be a coincidence, so Tigresa set out to find this man.
