Bubbly and cheerful, Theia's the centerpiece of every room. She's fun-loving, fashionable and hugely social, traits which have admirers and friends alike flocking to her side. Living in six towns in five years has barely slowed her stride, but she's finally put her foot down and moved away from her parents to attend a state college. Though she's working through a degree in marketing, Theia secretly dreams of running away to be a hostess on a cruise ship - the only person she's told about this is her childhood friend Noel, who's recently transferred in from a community college. Though it's been years since they've met, Theia's thrilled to find that Noel's stayed the same; if anything, it's easier to open up to them than before. There's nothing that can tear them apart from now on... or is there?
Theia's daemon is named Gellért after a famous Czech art nouveau hotel that Theia's parents visited during their honeymoon (they would have seriously considered naming her that if she had been a boy, though they would later decide on Jason). Like his human, Gellért likes attention and has something of a ego, often extolling his and Theia's virtues to anyone who'll listen. He settled when Theia was away on her summer "exile" to her grandmothers' house; both of them are still slighted that their parents weren't there for her traditional settling celebration. He gets along quite well with Noel's daemon Violet, often engaging in mutual grooming sessions with her, and credits himself for being the inspiration for her settled primate form.
