Emmet Reed

Obviously the more serious and well studied twin. After their parent's passing, Emmet coped in more productive ways. He sank himself into his studies with a focus on ether control. He shut out everyone except for Ethan when it came to having a social life. Even now, he would probably be content if he continued to live that way. But his passion for archeology could only grow if he worked with others, so he tries but is very slow when it comes to opening up. Usually he just stays stoic and unamused towards those around him, acting like everything is all about business exchanges. When he does crack a smile, it's considered a "win" in anyone's book.

Emmet is very passive when it comes to advances towards him. He'll analyze a situation and weigh if it's really worth reacting to or not. The only person he'll drop his guard and unemotional front for is Ethan. No one has ever seen him cry, act anxious, self-doubt, or be scared except for his twin. He's honestly trying to seperate himself from using Ethan as an emotional safety net, but isn't making much progress besides physically separating themselves to different countries.

Valk aka Dahlia, was the first being he'd dedicate himself to after his brother. He would never talk down to her, and would defend her in any aspect with the most gentlemanly nature one could hold while verbally cutting someone's throat open. But although she's become someone he can rely on intellectually and to be there physically for him, he still can't bring himself to be emotional around her.

Emmet is a character created from my avatar in the mobile game Unison League. He's an archeologist researching Granvia's past and best known for his progress and logs on the Tsukiyomi religion. His main unisons in order obtained: Summer Valkeryie "Dahlia", Aladdin, Tokugawa Ieyasu and Cait Sith

Easy to miss details when drawing: He has an ahoge (stupid piece of hair sticking up) over his left eye. His eyes are light brown. His ears are pierced.

Childhood: (More on Ethan's profile) After being orphaned, Emmet was kept away from his brother until they could define and control their own ether signatures. He put a huge focus on that, while using his time alone to advance his studies. Sadly during the fight that ended their parents, Emmet suffered injuries that were taking away his sight. Luckily he didn't go blind, but he now he completely relied on glasses to see. He could tell this shook Ethan up. Everything in their lives was changing so fast. They were able to work up to being able to room together again, but from there their paths were split. Ethan was more prone to acting out his frustrations and as an extrovert, needed to burn off excess energy in social and physically tiring tasks. Meanwhile Emmet found himself satisfied with getting loss in his scholar duties. Being one who could take pride in presenting his studies and magic, he caught the interest of the church.

More than any other passion, Emmet liked studying the past and the collection of anything ancient. He told Ethan that when they were allowed to leave the church, he'd be heading to Grauta to study with the scholars there and work his way into archeology. Ethan didn't seem to have any ambitions for after childhood, but he told Emmet "I'll just support you in every way I can." which struck a chord with Emmet, as he quietly promised he'd do anything for Ethan as well. The day of graduating from dependency came, and to a great shock Emmet was selected to join the church's highest circle. It was an honorable position, but everyone knew he'd have to dedicate his whole life to the service of the church and give up his own personal dreams. Ethan wasn't about to stand for that. After much begging and pleading, Emmet was convinced to let Ethan take his place. For the first time, they literally were separated as he stole away on a carriage leaving Rigiida. They wouldn't see each other for 3 years.

Emmet achieved his dreams, but was constantly wrecking himself internally for not being able to do anything for Ethan. He didn't even know if he was alive until a newly released book caught his eye. It was some junky romance novel that always became a rage with the housewives, but his name (well, Emett) was in the title and the author went by the name Eden Heart. An anagram of Ethan Reed. He wrote the author, and after years of being apart, his brother showed up at his door. Currently: Emmet works for an archeolgy guild in Grauta. He was given a student to learn magic control and dicipline from him while working named Riley. He lives a pretty comfortable life with Dahlia in a big house. He seems pretty content with life and the occassional adventure. His main research is on a nomadic moon tribe his mother used to belong to as they had a unique ability to physically archive dreams, memories, and emotions for others to experience on a whim.
