Priest's entire demeanor can be summed up by a single phrase: "calm and collected." He meditates regularly and seems to have his emotions under control at all times, even though this is not always the case as he has gotten good at masking his expressions. Priest believes it is his mission to try and bring this calm to others, often coming across almost as a religious figure. For some reason, however, he always gets uncomfortable when he is asked whether he is religious. No one knows why and what his goals truly are, adding to the mystery and strange vibes others often get from him. 

History

Priest's faith has been strong since his early childhood. As such, he regularly visited his local parish. When he grew older, he began to start doing missionary work. As a devout follower of God, he believed it was his mission to spread the message to the world. His last missionary trip to war-ridden lands, however, went horribly wrong.

He was kidnapped by the opposite side in an attempt to gain an upper hand on their enemy. Though Priest tried to reason with his captors and explain he was just there to spread religion and not on any particular side, his efforts proved futile. He was kept alive just barely for months, and every day he pleaded with his god to help him escape and never received an answer.

Whether it was due to malnutrition or simply a loss of sanity, Priest's vision of his god thus began to warp. He began to see the deity he worshiped as one of wrath who employed creatures like himself and even other gods as instruments of his plans. It was soon after coming to this conclusion that Priest was finally able to overwhelm his captors and escape. Believing he was saved because he embraced his god's true image, Priest's perspective on religion continued to warp until it was almost unrecognizable.

Though he is not evil by any stretch of the imagination, and Priest has returned to a semblance of his old self, he has an eerie calm about him now that he did not have before. His eyes appear older than his body, and it is unknown what entity he even serves. He continues his missionary work in a different way, and though he appears to have the best intentions, it's not known what his goals truly are.
