Friendly

Cedar is known to be friendly and kind to others. He can make friends rather easily and is known to be a great companion. He is kind to many cats even if he doesn't know them well.

Quick Thinker

He is able to think quickly and uses his skills and wits to get himself out of tough situations. This can also help him solve mysteries and take advantage of what he has around him. He is also observant and is often able to come up with plans on the spot.

Open-minded

He is open to new ideas and is a good listener. He listens to others ideas, watches others techniques and adapts and creates his own skills using this. He enjoys learning new things and understanding others.

Persistent/stubborn

Depending on the cat you ask, many would see him as either persistent or stubborn. He doesn't give up easily and will fight til the end. Though some cats see him as hard-headed and he doesn't like to be bossed around. 

Secretive

Cedar is known to be good at keeping secrets, but these include his own secrets. He hides many parts of his past due to the pain it brings him and has a hard time opening up. This also means he has a hard time trusting others.

Curious

He enjoys discovering and experiencing things for himself. He doesn't like to have unanswered questions which causes him to be adventurous. This can also cause him to run into bad situations and get himself stuck in the middle of a conflict.

Negative Traits

Arrogant

Cedar is known to be arrogant and prideful to many cats. He is charismatic and enjoys teasing others he is close with. He can be flirty and overconfident which sometimes gets in the way of his tasks.

Disloyal

Although several cats can argue otherwise, Cedar is considered disloyal and untrustworthy to many clan cats. He has a hard time staying committed to anything and can be indecisive. This causes concern to many cats as his distant attitude can be mistaken for being uncaring and disloyal.

Emotional

He can be very emotional at times and often keeps these feelings a secret. He doesn't like to share his sensitive side, but he can be very soft. Sometimes, these emotions get ahead of him and can start to control him. 

Goals

Cedar hopes to redeem himself due to being "the arrow holder". He believes he is fated to the Dark Forest, but will do anything to prove he's worth more. He hopes to write his own story and rewrite what his fate is.

Fears

He fears losing family or friends along with losing himself. He has a fear of the arrow that controls him and haunts him along with his dark past. He also worries about drowning and being unable to redeem himself and his wrongdoings.

Likes

Flirting, cuddling, climbing, adventuring, traveling, birds, exploring, playing detective, discovering new places, sightseeing and heights. 

Dislikes

Insects, swimming, being underground, being called disloyal, the arrow, being forced to do something, losing control of himself, and nightmares.

Positive attributes

Cedar is known to be good at climbing trees and doesn't mind heights. He is also a great problem solver and a quick thinker. He is fast and is able to sneak around without being noticed rather well. He is also able to stand his own in battle and uses his environment as an advantage. 

Negative attributes

Cedar is unable to swim and hates being underground. These can cause a disadvantage for him as he is unskilled in both of these environments. He can be forgetful and he often daydreams. He has trust issues, which makes it hard for him to open up to others.

• Cedar's favorite prey to eat are squirrels. His least favorite being fish.

• He has a fascination for birds.

• He doesn't mind getting his paws wet (in fact, he finds it relaxing), but dislikes swimming or getting the rest of his fur wet. He is also a bad swimmer and has a fear of drowning. 

• Although mostly introverted, he makes friends rather easily. 

• He is unfazed by fire. He fears smoke more than he fears the fire. 

• The blue fire he produces in the Dark Forest does not produce smoke and doesn't cause any environmental damage.

• He is ashamed of the scar on his chest and usually tries to hide it or pretend he doesn't have it. He dislikes when other cats stare at it or mention it to him. Due to his disliking for his scar, in Dark Forest, his scar is faded/not seen.

• He loves all of his kits and wants to mend the broken bond between him and his kits in ShadowClan.

• He enjoys heights and climbing trees.

• Hawkshadow believed Embersoul would become the next arrow holder and only realized Cedar was still alive when he arrived in the Dark Forest with the arrow through his chest.

• Cedar's favorite places to travel were the beach and the cherry blossom forest. He also enjoyed climbing the snowy mountaintops near the Tribe.

• Though he's considered a huge flirt, he stutters when he actually likes the cat he's flirting with.

• Cedar looses his bandana a lot, but usually it finds its way back to him somehow.

• He has two friendly rivals, one being with Honeywish, and one being with his sister, Embersoul.

• He has a hatred for Scorch and has grown a disliking for Lark. He's unsure about how he feels about Sapphire.

• He has ThunderClan blood, ShadowClan blood (due to his grandmother, Lilypool's father), and WindClan blood (due to his mother's father, Kestrelstar).
