Species : Day Meos

Distribution: All of Zangak

Diet: Omnivorous, but they seem to have a preference for fish and seafood. 

Height: About 160 cm to 210 cm ( 5,2 ft to 6,9 ft ) 

Lifespan: Up to 90 years. 

Overview: A type of Meos that can only be found in the country of Zangak. They are very docile creatures who live in towns, and love everything about nature. On top of that, they are exceptionally skilled at anything that is related to magic and will often work in that domain. However, they are also quite anxious by nature, as they are constantly hunted by their more ferocious, hostile Night counterparts, and are physically weak, for the most part.

At birth, purebred Day Meos can be born with either an affiliation to stones and gems, or plants and flowers. This determines the type of magic they can use, as well as their personality. Those who have a stone affiliation are believed to be more energetic and loud, while those who are affiliated to plants are more tranquil and collected. Of course, that is only superstition! However, it is very common to see a Day Meos become an expert on the affiliation they have and use it to their advantage for work ( for example, a Day Meos who knows all about plants could easily become a potion expert, since it requires said knowledge ). 

Crossbreeds however will have magic powers related to the species their parents have. For example, Marine Day Meos could have magic related to water, or light. A Celestial Day Meos can be granted flight, and so on. 

Since they are also very intelligent, they are the ones who figured out the magic system in the world they live in, and who established a set of rules to avoid plunging societies into chaos.
