Profile
- He is a Dainty, he has hooved deer legs and his stockings cannot be removed or altered!
- His eyes are green, he's blind in his right eye (our left).
- Most of his scars don't have to be completely accurate, but please do not forget the ones on his face!
- Please color pick off his reference, the pallet is on there!
- He's lean and definitely built for agility, but he has some decent muscle mass. Like this!
- I'd prefer for him to be drawn with his wolf pelt on unless specified otherwise!
- The leg wrap is only on his right (our left) leg! The ties on it should be towards the inside of his leg.
- His clothes are all made of animal pelts, so they have a lot of fur on 'em! (The fur side is inside, with some poking out!)
- He's blind in one eye due to a confrontation with humans... he barely made it away with his life.
- His saliva has healing properties. He's not aware that this isn't normal.
- He has a collection of animal pelts. The winters are really cold, so he skins bigger animals whenever he hunts them.
- His wolf pelt is his favorite! He's proud that he managed to best a wolf in the first place.
- He's not embarrassed about his scars at all, he's quite proud of them actually. They're his victories! Except the eye scar, of course.
- His back is an absolute mess of scars. It's clear he's had some really close calls.
- He's wrestled a bear before and won.
- He's exceedingly good at tracking animals. Show him any animal footprint taken from his forest and he'd be able to identify it.
- The tooth on his tunic is from one of his many victories. It maaaaay or may not have been in his flesh at one point. Whoops!
- He overheats very easily. He's used to regulating for intense cold, so anything higher than 75° F / 24° C is exceedingly uncomfortable for him. 75° F / 24° C used to be too hot for him, but he's been around people enough to have adapted to it since his removal from his forest.
- He was caught / brought to the lab when he was about 20, his boyfriends broke him out when he was about 25, and he's been living with them ever since!
- The lab 100% wasn't going to euthanize him if he hadn't escaped, totally not.... totally....
Nikita is cold, standoffish, and very abrasive. He's quiet, precise, and solitary by nature. He's easy going, but he's very resilient and hard to break down. He's very territorial when it comes to his forest and he's protective of all that he claims as his. He's quick to attack any perceived threat, which makes him very aggressive and forceful when need be. Seeing as how he's lived most of his life in the wilderness, he's alert and he's very observant. He's exceedingly curious about many things, including "regular" life and, mainly, regular food. It's hard to earn his trust due to his secluded nature, but if one manages to succeed, they'll have a very loyal and somewhat kind person that they can rely on. After getting on his good side, one would notice a change in Nikita. He's friendly, caring, loving, and his curiosity takes a front seat. He doesn't know a whole lot of words, but he'll ask many confusing questions and make gestures to get his point across. He's more open and expressive. One will find that while he may not seem like it, he's very smart and he's a quick learner!
- Elk. They make good friends.
- Animal pelts. They're so soft, warm, and they make for a great bed!
- Snow and ice. They make his forest look so beautiful!
- Animals in general
- Keeping warm, sleeping in
- Combat! He's proud of all of his victories
- His scars. He's very proud of them, they're like trophies!
- Confinement. This boy was built to explore!
- People using his blind eye to get the jump on him
- Being left alone for long periods of time. He used to be fine with it, but once he was taken into captivity? He began to enjoy having company.
- Needless death. Sometimes it's necessary for food or it's just the cycle of life, but outside of necessity, killing is a no-go for him.
- Crowds / Being around a lot of noise and people.
- Regular clothing. Why wear this cotton stuff? Pelts are so much softer and more comfortable.
rewriting, but basically - baby abandoned in forest, forest god takes pity on such a helpless creature, and now baby is forest man who can become giant forest wolf and protects these woods w his heart and soul
Nikita lives in a world similar to our own, where dainties are rare beings. Kita lives out in the middle of a vast forest in the far north, where snow hardly thaws for more than a few days before new snow comes to take its place. In this world, gods take the form of whatever they wish and walk the earth, and magic exists, though the presence of both magic and gods are largely unknown. Kita was blessed by his caretaker, the god of the forest he inhabits, with minor healing abilities and the capability to transform into a wolf at will. The size and strength of his transformation depends entirely on his proximity to his forest - the closer, the more powerful and larger, and the further, the weaker and smaller. Kita lives off of the forest and rarely ventures out, though he lives as a bit of a folktale to villages surrounding the forest due to his tendency to attack and scare off any travelers who enter the forest with the intent to hunt. Due to the limited contact he has with humanoids, he hasn't learned how to communicate in their language, as his native tongue is far harsher and much too different for the locals to understand. He knows few words others understand, and prefers to get his point across with violence rather than reason.
