Keito

A Hanakotoba with a contradictory personality. They're talkative with close friends, but shy with strangers, preferring to stick to situations where they are the most accustomed to. They depict themselves as very capable and independent, refusing support from others, oftentimes putting themselves into risky situations. They are extremely self-conscious about their weaknesses and make an effort never to show anyone vulnerability. Even though they are generally nice and friendly, they put up a wall between themselves and others to protect their insecurities and hide them. Extremely bad with confrontation and is easily pushed over when confronted aggressively.

Keito started off as just a regular student, suffering at school and trying to please their parents by studying medicine. It was always the same routine for them, go to school and then go home. Even though their life was monotonous, they were content that it was stable.

Coming home one night after a long day of classes and meetings, Keito decided to take a shortcut on the way home. As they were passing by a dark alley, they heard some suspicious noises. Unable to contain their curiousity, they decided to peek into alley. There they saw two men holding pipes standing around a third man, lying in a pool of blood. They made an attempt to flee, but was unsuccessful and captured by the two men from the alley. Blindfolded and gagged, they were brought to a conference room with gang members. Apparently they had been a witness to illegal gang activites and would be a problem for the gang. They had considered killing them, much to their horror, but one of the men, Ajax, pointed out that covering up a civilian murder would be just as much trouble. He suggested that he keep a eye on Keito since he wasn't heavily involved with gang activities anyway, and the rest of the members reluctantly aggreed following the approval of their boss.

Though Keito was grateful that their life was spared, they were not very happy that their life had taken such a drastic turn. They could still attend school normally, but was always monitored and was also forced to move in with Ajax. Spending more time Ajax, they grew more fond of him and decided that staying with him wasn't so bad after all.
