"It's so shiny!"
Kecil is just a young dragon kid that is learning about the world in his own way, traveling the country and making the most of every experience. His bright attitude gets him in a lot of trouble since he doesn't know any better, but his best friend Rakoun is there to help him out. Though he has draconic blood, he isn't as strong as the people fear. He has to hide his traits to avoid being persecuted by the anti-dragonblood movements that reign over the south. While their main mission is to find Kecil's family, he often finds time to drive Rakoun mad by going off trail and collect rocks or investigate every odd bug he sees. He's a child, a starry eyed happy child that is determined to make everything right that has been wronged in the world along their adventure. Even when he comes across the worst of humanity, seeing the fighting amongst species, he still wants to make things right. His parents only ever taught him facts, his brother taught him kindness. From living in the mountain cave his whole life, when he ventured down to be around people for the first time, he just felt like he wanted to do good.

Character
History
In a world of mythical creatures filled with humans, humanoids, and rarely powerful full-blooded creature-kind, Kecil was born high up in the mountains where dragons where said to have lived for generations and migrated over centuries. His family to him were his mother, father, and Jaid, but the underlying issues of their arrangement he had no idea of. They lived in the mountains secluded from most others. His father and Jadi would leave the cave for weeks at a time, but Kecil paid no mind. He loved his older brother with all his heart, so it crushed him to find that he went missing one day. The pressure that his parents put on the older brother caused him to run away, so in the night his parents went looking for him, leaving young Kecil alone in their empty home.
The adventure
Kecil stayed in the cave for a while but he couldn't take care of himself for long. He was noticeably dragon like, so when he went to the nearest town it caused a bit of a panic. Rakoun stood up for Kecil and they stowed away on a carriage to the next town over, on this trip Rakoun agreed to only stay with Kecil to help him find his parents. Abandonded at a young age, Kecil saw this older male figure that took up for him and latched on. From there on out Kecil and Rakoun hopped from town to town chasing word of any dragon humans, covering their tracks, living life with no permanent home.
The future
The adventuring was fun for a while, but of course as time passed they knew there was a small chance they were ever going to find Kecils family. A fight broke out between the two of them because Kecil was in denial, he wanted to keep searching, but Rakoun had evidence Kecils parents had been killed some time back. Kecils brightness dimmed, he grew up, the suspicion he ignored was true all along. They made up from the fight and Rakoun said he wanted to go home, but he invited Kecil to live with him. Rakoun saw that he had the maturity to see the world in other ways. They were on a new adventure now, instead of chasing after something they were never going to find they now had to find something they didn't know existed: a home.
Rakoun
[ Best friend ] His partner in crime, older brother figure, and voice of reason. The only one looking out for him throughout their adventures as they learn about their pasts, and their futures as people. Truly, a best friend.
Jadi
[ Brother ] The older brother, the missing piece of the puzzle, and all that Kecil can seem to want in the world. Despite Jadi abandoning him, Kecil still searches for what he thinks he is missing in his life.
