A mermaid with reputation for all things dark and shady during her life, which only grew worse while she delved into dark magics more and more when she was scorned. She had a large interest in necromancy, and was looking into ways to attain immortality, when she was eventually killed. However, the rituals she performed during her life triggerred, and let her return.. though not in a form she expected or even wanted.

As time passed, Echo grew used to her undead state, and actually found she prefers it, but still searches for ways to keep her half-life more permanent.

Also, zombie fish are involved!
