- Role Eats souls, will tell you how many times you've died, the more you die in Deathwish, the larger he gets. If you finish the game, he will follow you around as SoulStarved Mini and attack nearby enemies.

"Brark! Bark!"
The SoulStarved is a being of shadows who, as the name suggests; consumes souls.
He is a snake-like being who resides in the Subcon Forest. Usually is curled up into a ball like a cat. If offered any type of soul, life, or spirit energy, he will eat it within seconds. This includes the Subcon Spirits that will go into apples and explode;; but only if he is very hungry, because he counts them as civillians. When pained, he seems to let out an almost distorted and disturbing dog-like whine mixed with hissing. His physical form when hungry also seems to become less stable, as his body will twist and distort on occassion.

"Bwarf! Bark!"
Before the Subcon Forest became a twisted and demented place ruled by the Snatchers hand, the SoulStarved was known as a fluffy round dog named Spot;; he was a well known dog, and practically everyone who lived in the Kingdom treated him as their own pet. Hell, even the prince and princess gave Spot food and pets if they saw him.
**dog whines**
But that was in the past. Ever since the Kingdom became the twisted demented place known as Subcon Forest, everyone became odd shadow beings, including Spot. Instead of dog food and meat, he had a sudden need for souls. He was born starved and weak, and fed off of lost souls or bits and pieces of someones soul. Ever since the other shadow beings realized this, they set up a system where at least part of someones soul would be fed to the starved beast.

His body can seperate and make multiple smaller versions of himself. Although he prefers to just shrink his size to become Soulstarved Mini. He doesn't get out of the subcon forest much, and while he likes it as a home, he wants to explore, which is why if Hat Kid proves herself to him ((by beating the main storyline)), he will go with her willingly. When he is with Hat Kid, he will attack nearby enemies. Any defeated enemies will become a soul for a short amount of time and if said, he will eat them which will allow him to grow bigger without having to have Hat Kid die millions of times.
