Take a detour from the city to Marine Row (arguably the loveliest arts-themed street in the neighbourhood), and you’ll be able to find a quaint cafe belonging to the Addair-Takagi family. Cassian has been consistently helping his family at the shop since he was in his sophomore year of high school, but now he has recently graduated from college with aspirations to become a music tutor or something similar that sparks joy in him. Currently, he is a music student teacher/teacher’s assistant at a primary and middle school in the bustling city area of Rxverside.
Cass is very warm and charismatic, and tries to see the best in people-- sometimes, this leads to him being oblivious to the dangers of others. While most people know him for his artistic skills, his talents also extends to fencing and is surprisingly strong and agile.
[Magic Details] Cassian and his family are entirely mundane, meaning they do not have any magical powers or are affiliated with any magic users.

- favourite desserts are chocolate muffins (especially the dark chocolate ones). he thinks 80% dark chocolate has the best balance
- has a lot of cousins from his mother’s side living in his state that he is close with (think the boyle cousins)
- paints his shoes with acrylic paint when he’s bored or taking a break from work
- gets along with kids well; he’s 100% the fun substitute teacher who recommends cool movies and games
- can’t take care of plants; he can be forgetful with schedules and ended up overwatering or underwatering the plants he owned before
- arguably good fashion taste, but really just dresses based on mood
- he’s acrophobic
- rarely drinks, but sober cassian and drunk cassian are two completely different people
- as a music tutor, he teaches trumpet and euphonium, the instruments he learned since the beginning of middle school.
