Personality: He’s a young, excited opelle who loves the high seas and looks up dearly to his parents. Larceny’s in his blood, and he has already gotten into a ton of trouble with various civilizations. Abyssea is a very loud, outspoken opelle with a small ship of his own that he teleports through realms and wants a parrot of his very own, too… however, chasing after birds doesn’t work too well.

He can ramble on about the things he’s interested in for ages and ages, barely stopping at all. When there’s something Abyssea wants, he’ll do just that to distract the person in question while he tries to sneakily take it. He is deeply in love with any type of shiny object and is usually adorned with some of the bright jewels he’s taken in his travels. 

In short, while Abyssea might be just a child, he’s truly found his own in the realms. He truly is his father’s child - perhaps one day he’ll be a better thief than Midas himself.

Are they offensive or defensive?: Overall he would call himself very offensive. He’s not afraid in the slightest to get up close and personal with danger, even if he’s still smaller than most of his opposition or if his parents would prefer he stay on the safer end of things for a while. What’s the point of staying safe if there’s endless, wonderful adventure to be had out there? Abyssea likes to be the center of attention and the center of the action, swinging around his daggers like there’ll be no tomorrow to swing them and leaping over attacks like he’s going to feature in the olympics.

What environment do they come from?;; Starheart’s lighthouse town by the ocean.

Their philosophy/a phrase that describes them;; Don’t ever give up in the face of impossible odds.

What element are they most associated with?;; Water - he was born for sailing the high seas.

Who or what is their closest companion?: If there is anyone that Abyssea looks up to more than anyone else, it would be his great and brilliant parents, Monarch and Midas. He wishes he could know them well, could follow them on their adventures. But that isn’t quite true, and he knows it. If Abyss is going to honestly answer such a question, he’ll tell you about his small yet special pirate ship, the thing he probably stole himself and spends ages adventuring on. It may be small, it may be simple, but it’s home, and he cares deeply for the thing. Now if only he could find a crew for said ship…

What is their ideal time of day?;; A cool dusk.

Do they like or dislike the void realm?;; It’s disappointing for Abyss, mainly because he can’t bring his pirate ship in with him to the darkness and there’s no oceans. He’s put himself completely behind his role, to the point of wearing an eyepatch when he doesn’t need one (this is a child, after all, he’s playing pretend on a huge scale.) So it’s unfortunate that he can’t do anything about the endless shadows of his home realm. It’s good to meet other children of his kind in such a place, but he’s out more often than he’s in. It’s a decent place, but he knows better places to be.
