Amelia Ara

Amelia is a bright young girl. She adores her father, Nicolo, and she wishes she knew her mother better. She's only met her a few times but she feels her mother would show more interest in her if they had gotten to know each other better. She doesn't ask her dad about her because she knows it must've been a rough time in his life for him to move all the way from Italy to Japan. Nicolo has taken Amelia back to Italy for family reunions on occasion as his family is very important to him, but Amelia still misses her large family and feels alone at home.

Even though her looks take after her father, Nicolo tells her that she is just as beautiful as her mother. Her father spoils her the best he can, but she isn't a brat. He just likes always being there for her and having her happy.  

She knows her father is a gangster and knows that he is also still a good man. Of course, she worries for him. But that's about all she can do. But given the chance, she'd protect her father with her life. She doesn't think that these yakuza men are all so dangerous like her father makes them out to be. Every time she has met them, they seem to know her so well with how much Nicolo has talked about her. She likes thay they all call her "Miss Amelia" and she has come to call them her "uncles."  But Nicolo doesn't want her to get tangled up in all this, so he tries to put distance between them.
