The classic homeless orphan life was Haru’s for a while, their parents couldn’t cope with their constant form changing and one day they completely lost Haru whilst out. They adapted quite quickly to life on the streets and became very good at using their quirk but it uses a lot of energy and it was hard to regain that with irregular food sources. It had been a rough few weeks for Haru and they were completely crashed out, Daichi came across them in their Tanuki form and took them home. It wasn’t common to find raccoon dogs in the city so Daichi assumed it was some sort of quirk. Other gang members were a little dubious at first and just assumed Daichi had gone mad with grief after losing his own children from the family, that he just wanted a pet racoon dog. A few days of napping and Haru could take human form again. Wowing Daichi with their vast shapeshifting abilities, He assigned Haru to keeping an eye on the city, to blend into the background and learn anything and everything important.They haven’t bothered looking for their real parents.

Quirk

Can shapeshift into anything! People,animals and objects. However the durability of it is dependent on their energy levels. Human disguises take up more energy than Haru's default racoon dog form as do any shifts into anything bigger than them. When disguised as a human and low on energy, large black circles will appear around their eyes to pick them out.
