 Declan seriously loves this woman, and never plans on leaving her side.

Declan met Victoria in 1756 when she took him into her safe haven for 'demonic' creatures. he cared for her like a sister. over time, Declan felt pressured by people outside of the haven to marry Victoria. they did, and forgot most of the time. he was very happy living with her, and was devastated when she was killed in 1884.

Declan took her in in 1803. he quickly took a liking to her, and they began spending a of time together. they escaped the haven when it burned down and lived together for quite some time. he protects her fiercely and would sooner die then let her be hurt.
