Imhotep is very intelligent but also easily irritable. After living for so long and being unable to die due to his curse, he  has grown bitter and tired. Imhotep has also grown somewhat power hungry, despising being told what to do. In spite of his tendency towards malice, however, Imh can often come across as charming and is very good at persuasion. He can be a very good leader if he so chooses, but he doesn't often care much for the sake of others. He finds Fraser, however, very intriguing and often follows him around. Though he would never admit it, spending decades alone has made his longing for a friend of any sort incredibly strong. He hates this about himself, however, and tries to squash it down as often as possible - which unfortunately only leads to further isolation.
