Grim

*Future warrior name: Grimlight, for his warm personality and bright eyes

Detailed Appearance:
Grim is often referred to as a sleek and slender apprentice. A smidge taller than other apprentices his age (he'll tell you it's because of his ears, it's not) and with a longer than average tail behind him. His eyes are usually dilated in delight and curiosity, so it is hard to see the hue of his iris, though when more negative emotions begin to grip him his eyes become tight wavering slits that show off the warm yellow-orange eyes that some may compare to the harvest moon. The fur on their body is short, with only small tufts sticking out here and there, but incredibly soft to the touch (those with the frame of reference may compare it to sheep's wool or just kitten fuzz). They don't have a distinct smell of their own just yet, being as they just left the nursery, but as he gets older he will begin to smell of damp soil and waterlogged wood.

Grim is known to be a very kind and curious cat. Always going out of his way to help others, even if he has other things he needs to be doing at that moment. Not that he does this to get out of his work, but because he sees helping others as more important than doing his own chores. This can tend to land him in trouble, being scolded for disregarding his own chores and duties, but with his heart in the right place and his age, he might get looked over for the indiscretions. However, the young cat has a lot weighing on their little heart. When people suffer they, even at their young age, think it is their fault for not helping when they could have, or not trying hard enough. This internalizing has led the feline to become paranoid about how others truly feel about him and anything he does. Continuing to spin off of this initial internalization, Grim now has a freeze response when it comes to confrontation.

History(normal rp groups): 

Born to a single parent, Twilightstorm, Grimkit was originally in a litter of two, though when the two got sick, he was the only one to pull through. As such, he was doted on by Twilightstorm. 

The young kit's warm hearted nature started to show as soon as he could properly move around. Shyly following around his parent, helping them with the most basics of tasks that were monumental for a tiny kit (even if he never actually helped out that much). When his guardian went back to their warrior duties, the young kit was left with not much to do as he was incredibly nervous about approaching other cats. It took time, but after nearly a moon later he started to reach out to the other kits and became quick friends. 

Being named apprentice to the warrior (insert group mentor here), Grimpaw is incredibly apprehensive on how his life will go. He does his best, making sure to ask loads of questions (once he's comfortable) and going out of his way to help out other apprentices with their chores. Unfortunately this can lead to the apprentice getting used by other apprentices instead of helping out those who genuinely need it.

During Leaf-fall, Grimpaw had quite a time. The festival was fun, meeting apprentices from other clans was a nice experience! Some he would like to become friends with one day. But as the veil thinned out, the young apprentice found himself in a time of strife and doubt in his belief. Having accidentally crushed a mushroom and seen ghosts milling about, the young cat now thinks he has a cursed attached to him.

Grim has started to feel a bit more bitter, darker. Feeding into his drive to be stronger to defend the clan as things seem to fall apart around him. 

This darker feeling has not yet faded. Growing more and more with each passing moon. Watching his old leader, Sagestar, fall into paranoia, several of his clanmates being killed, and now... now he has been marred, forever marked by an odd spirit he had found in the waters of the Twoleg cemetary the city cats call "the Necropolis".

History (Paramount Pariahs): 

Born outside of the coterie, but brought in after a crusade. No one ever told the young cat where he came from or who his real family is, after all, why would he when adopted by the Bishop Joy, taken under its all-knowing fleece. The Bishop named the young kit Grim, stating the reason for those unsure of their leader's decision to be to dissuade anything 'grim' from following him into life as the start to it had been so filled with the idea. 

Now pressured to one day be a Vicar, or even take over the coterie himself due to the special interest, he is full of nerves and paranoia about the not so subtle jealousy other cats in the coterie give him.
