Prior to deputyship, Daisy had a long and complicated history with the clan's leadership... She was never outright disobedient, but she held a certain distaste for being told what to do. She was repeatedly self-indulgent and concerned only with her own well-being, and often (but not always) her brother's when he stuck around. Things changed when she had her first apprentice; her walls had already been worn down by her mentor, but Juniperpaw helped her see the value of responsibility. She began to prioritize the clan's youth, especially when Juniper passed.
Still, her deep-rooted agitation only grew, of no help by her brother's betrayal - and her parents' reactions, or lack thereof. As ShallowClan grew restless under Sagestar's rule, Daisy felt her defiant heart returning, fueling a rage she's kept under wraps... Even when she was named deputy under new leadership. Now she sits in the clan hierarchy, bewildered, but... As she gets to know Olivestar more, the draw to chaos becomes evermore appealing... And what kind of damage can be done in this high-ranking position?

- While remedying her relationship with her father, she is learning of his life in coastal cat colonies - even going as far as to learn their language.
- Under the assumption Elytra knows it, too, she occasionally speaks in her "colony gibberish..."
- She doesn't actually know if she likes ShallowClan at all now, but... She may just persist out of pure spite.
- Neutral on (if not against) the known afterlives but desperately hopes Juniperpaw is somewhere nice, and that they can maybe meet again...
Daisy spent her life between two families, bucking against her mother's cruelty and simultaneously absorbing herself within her friends' lineage.
Her moons were plagued with mistrust, violence and sickness... She was born in a time of strife within her clan, a similarly divisive force between her parents - and eventually, between their ilk. But before that, she and her brother held each other close in an effort to sustain any childhood they could, themselves their only family...
Becoming apprentices would be the first thing to break their bond. Taken on by Weaselfoot, Daisypath would spend her time training to be the best warrior in the batch. Despite her typical rejection of authority, she would grow close to Weasel, helped by friends she made in her apprenticeship - especially Rabbitmoon and Toadsong. For a moment it seemed that the horizons expanded past her blood-family, that there was a world to explore - and fellow felines to explore it with...
Though hurt by her newfound separation with her brother, she found solace in these other kindred, especially through her early warriorship. She would even come upon an apprentice of her own; the child of her friend Rabbitmoon. Honored to be tasked with training her friend's daughter, Juniperpaw, Daisypath would put everything into her mentorship...
But some moons after, she'd find herself put through the next test: a sudden bout of greencough. Daisypath found both herself and Juniper stricken, restricted to the medicine den to watch each other struggle. Daisy held as strong as she could, often comforting her apprentice when the parents could not. But day by day, she felt Juniper weaken... Until finally, her paws were empty.
For a few moons she grieved alongside Rabbitmoon, taken aback that his mate would leave him after such a tragedy. But thankfully, she herself would have a cat to fall back on - renewing the strained tie with her brother. And not a moment too soon; before long, she would lose Rabbitmoon himself.
Daisypath would grow distant following the LakeClan battle, suffering the whiplash of loss and betrayal among ShallowClan ranks. Even Toadsong would leave for the kittypets, a decision she hardly fought - given everything. Up until present day, she would stay out of the way, enjoying the calmer end of things and providing for her clan... Before it would again take a turn for the worse.
Her brother's betrayal ruined everything. Left to fend for herself, Daisypath was unsure how to meet the potential accusations that could be thrown her way... Even and especially from her own mother. But the whole of the Clan is at stake...
And now, she is in the position to forge it's future.
