Day-to-day, Alonza maintains the attitude of a seriously business-oriented fascist, one she has taken on since young teenhood. Ever since she was young, her dreams entailed the exploitation of economics- toying with the universe and building the perfect empire. Ever since she begun striving for her colonies to be perfect as her parents grew more distant from her, it slowly integrated into her routine until keeping that perfect order through elaborate ploys became almost like a duty to her. She treats the politics of her subordinate solar systems with ease, but underneath what seems like a game, there's still the face of a mastermind. She displays exemplary intelligence, as well as a fair amount of emotional distance.

Immersing herself in politics so soon left her socially underdeveloped, however, and she grew up faster than she would have liked, if she had any awareness of it. She can display a healthy dose of professionalism, but deep inside, she craves the closeness of something more than just business partnership. She can be utterly innocent and excitable if broken out of her cold and unfeeling shell. She always keeps in mind the fact that her position puts her at a heavy disadvantage when it comes to making truthful friends.

But does this make her any less of an evil person? No. Not at all. She still will do what's depraved and immoral, as long as it's in her definition of "for the greater good". Sometimes, repressed frustrations also snake their way into the orders given to her subordinates.

Laukkanen Enterprises first came to life in the Earth year 3890, 2 years after a stray militant organization of 300 people under the leadership of Alvari Laukkanen led to the collapse of the tribal government on Deyrit. Alvari reclaimed this planet as “Valkea”, and to him, it was what he called home.

The Laukkanen settlement on Valkea started out small. Alvari's small army took shelter there, taking advantage of the planet's rich resources to sustain themselves and establish the capital of Valkea. The construction of the headquarters began, and the army retired briefly to aid in the construction of shelters for soldiers and newcomers. The planet's population expanded as Laukkanen took control of a nearby dwarf planet rich in ore, Kalpea, and began hiring workers. It is rumored that Alvari also partook in the use of slavery, but that nowadays remains unconfirmed.

Kalpea, determination and money was how Laukkanen expanded. And violence. Alvari utilized unethical tactics to scare businesses into submission and continued to expand the Valkea military. But it wasn't there for the planet itself. No, it was Alvari's private army, and it was there to help him conquer.

Laukkanen primarily acquired control over planets through the way of blackmail and genocide. Alvari has done research on brainwashing his soldiers to ensure maximum effectiveness, but to no success. Decades later, however, he would implement chips and mandatory drafts for the inhabitants of Valkea, bordering on a violation of galactic law. He himself passed away in 3980 at the age of 120, leaving the dictator empire in the hands of his only child, Aland Laukkanen. By then, Laukkanen was under control of 23 systems and 114 planets.

This time was considered one where Laukkanen's expansion turned stagnant. Aland was disgusted with his father's work, but too attached to his legacy to simply throw it away. He let the basics of the business be maintained by the 19 year old robotic maid he inherited from his father, Crescentia, and advised her to let him make the more difficult choices.

Eventually, Aland got married to his wife, Adeleine. In 3998, they had a child, and named her Edra Alonza Laukkanen. Admittedly, Aland did not care for his daughter as much as he should have. He simply wanted to have someone to leave the company to.

Cyriac is the maid that took care of Alonza since she was six years old, when her parents became distant and unattached. The girl was forced to learn responsibility extremely early on, and showed exemplary intelligence. Cyriac was her only company. Surrounded by the military and corporate, she picked up on her grandfather's practices rather quick, and just as Aland intended, she began to rule Laukkanen on her own at the age of 13. She doesn't know what's wrong with her father leaving a massive corporation to his child's hands. She thinks it's just her passion.

By 4015, Laukkanen property had increased to 34 systems and 256 planets, typically located in the proximity of human space.
