Arthur "Figaro" Figaro

Arthur Figaro, who goes by Figaro, was raised by his mother Lucy, who is a professional Renaissance Faire actor and SCA member. His young childhood consisted of a nomadic lifestyle, going from faire to faire, and growing up surrounded by music, poetry, swordfights and people in bright costumes.

Once Figaro was solidly school aged (around 8 years old) Lucy realized she would have to settle down in order to make sure Figaro had something of a normal childhood, and she did, but the lifestyle had already made a mark on him, and of course, summers out of school continued to revolve around the faire. Lucy passed many skills down to her son, including sewing, acrobatics, swordsmanship, and music.

Figaro grew up a child of two worlds, always caught between normal school life, and the manic summer lifestyle of his mother, and found that her prefered the latter. While he never had many close friends he made temporary friends quite easily and tends to charm most people that he comes across-- at least those who aren't put off by his innocent and fun loving nature.

Figaro's personality is characterized by cheerful goodwill and compassion, and the quite genuine desire to make others smile. He's creative, and energetic, sometimes overly energetic.

Figaro's ambition is to become a professional clown, which he considers his calling. He has been training in it since he was young, and is preparing to attend clown college. Figaro considers clowns innocent and fun, and has a hard time understanding and accepting why pop culture presents clowns as evil and scary.

Figaro's hobbies are doll and puppetmaking making, putting on puppet shows, and game playing. He typically crafts soft dolls out of fabric and stuffing, but has started to dabble in porcelain. Figaro loves games and toys of all kinds, especially a fan of old pokemon games.

While on the surface he may seem like nothing more than an overgrown kid, Figaro has a deeper side. He is fiercely loyal and protective, and will rush to the aid of just about anyone in trouble. When confronted with the sad or frightening he does his best to put a brave face on to inspire others, though internally he may be deeply effected by the darkness in the world.
