Earth

Born in an alternate America known as the Pax Republic, Hazel is the daughter of a chrono-scientist Harley Davidson and that world's most famous soldier and chrononaut, codename Lionheart. After the failure of the chrononaut experiments and in the face of an internal coup baby Hazel and her scientist mother were accidentally shot through time to a world similar to ours where Hazel would then grow up. Unknowingly taking after her other mother, and knowing nothing of the Pax Republic, Hazel self-trained in military defense and espionage, while Davidson secretly attempted to build a machine to send them back to their original universe.

Hazel spent most of her free time bouncing around from one sport and activity to another, with an enthusiasm for sports and the outdoors, often dragging her much less outdoorsy friend Simon along with her. In her first year of college Hazel participated in ROTC, intending to join the military after school. However, her plans were destined to be interupted.

The Return

Called back home with an urgent phone call from her mother, Hazel and Simon were both pulled back to the Pax Republic by Doctor Davidson's machine, and Hazel learned the truth of her birthplace. They were immediately drawn back into the Pax military turmoil as Hazel discovered that she had apparently been a war hero there, years earlier. Hazel would soon find herself catapulted back in time to the Pax Republic's equivalent of the Cold War, where she found herself in the middle of a terrorist attack. After helping thwart the attack and save the president's life, she found herself volunteered and sent into enemy territory after her own mother, Lionheart, a supposed defector to soviet Uldovia, with only her new partner, the tacit agent Viper to back her up.

Snowdrift

Victor and Hazel, after they failed to rescue the Uldovan scientist who was trying to defect ,were tasked with returning to Uldovia and stopping Gagarin, a radical extremist who had taken his followers, stolen a top secret superweapon and hunkered down in a remote research station. In addition, they were tasked with assassinating the Body of Peace, an elite military unit lead by Victor's mentor, Lionheart in order to cool rising tensions between Uldovia and Pax which threatened to launch them into a new world war.

They entered a research facility in Uldovia by air, and worked their way through the frozen mountain range. Along the way, they ran afoul of the Uldovian army's rising special forces agent Panther and his partner Lynx and found a tentative ally in Spider, the mysterious agent posing as a member of Gagarin's team.

The two defeated the Body one by one, growing closer with one another along the way. They eventually gained intel on where the Titan, a nuclear capable walking tank powered by a mind-scanning AI, was being hidden. Upon arriving, it's artificial intelligance went haywire due to being told to kill, and put the tank in a frenzy. Viper and Heron took down the monstrosity, and killed Gagarin in a climactic battle, before Viper was taken to face Lionheart alone. He killed her, and heard her last words, before the two of them returned to the pax republic and grieved.

Hazel however had witnessed her mother's body vanish, giving her hope that she might be alive somewhere. Convalescing in the hospital together, the two became involved, and shared a night together with the promise of more on the way. Unfortunately Hazel's plans were to be disregarded once again, as she and Simon were yanked back to the present of the Pax Republic, directly following an attempt on her mother's life.
