In Kitsune’s tribe names are usually chosen by the leader who will be given the names of newborns in dreams. Kitsune tends to be a very common name given within the tribe. Her last name is the same as her uncle’s and father’s, they have last names in her tribe due to how common some names tend to be so they give them last names in order to not confuse the members.

Personality

With how old Kitsune is you would expect her to be quite frail, though this definitely isn’t the case. This Zoroark is a very friendly character and quite social, she shows her kindness through deeds and tries her best to be supportive. Kitsune sometimes seems almost motherly in a way and will commonly help those in need and protect them… Even if she can be a little too trusting. Now, with all this being said she must be a really good friend to have, right? Well… There’s a lot of flaws to her to say the least.

Kitsune is very stubborn and it’s usually quite hard to get her out of a certain mindset, this really is hard with how trusting she can be as she will sometimes continue to be nice to those who clearly want absolute nothing to do with her or are just straight up manipulating and taking advantage her. She sees the world as being quite black and white, there’s good people and there’s bad people with no in betweens although she is very supportive of those from the “bad side” to come over to the “good side”. With all this I’ve still been ignoring Kitsune’s main flaw, and that’s her anger.

Kitsune may come off as a good person at first but there is a reason why many people seem to leave their friendship with her so fast and that’s due to her quick temperedness. It doesn’t take much for this Zoroark to get angry, you can insult her once and she’ll already be at your throat before you can finish it. The more you anger her the worst it gets, sure she’ll be using a few Pokémon moves on you at first but once it gets bad enough she’ll start fighting very brutally, like, she’ll actually try to slit your throat or bite into your neck just to end you kind of brutal. She claims that she has no control of this, almost as if having an out of body experience when this does happen and really does feel sorry for when it occurs, though it may not be believable to some.

This Pokémon will also tend to pick fights with those who don’t seem to be up to good as she honestly really does enjoy fighting and trains quite a lot, it’s just a shame that this really is a bad thing due to her quick temperedness. Lastly there is one odd thing with Kitsune and that’s her fear of losing those close to her… Kitsune has a lot death that accuses in her past and it really has taken a toll on her. She has a much longer lifespan than the normal Zoroark but even taking this into account the majority of people taken away from her were killed in quite brutal ways, namely from murder. Because of this Kitsune has begun to believe that if she gets too close to someone that they will die, almost as if she were cursed with this, and because of this isn’t too mentally stable it seems… Though she really can’t help but try to be friends with others as she also fears loneliness.

If you are going to have a long lasting friendship with this Zoroark then you’re really going to need a lot of patients and careful speaking due to how easy it is to set her off, but she really will try her best to be a good friend to those who will give her a chance despite her flaws.

Backstory

Kitsune was born into a family of two Zoroarks, a female Zoroark named Zora and a male shiny Zoroark named Envy, the brother of their tribe’s leader. At a young age the little Zorua was shown some of the worst aspects of life due to her father’s anger that seemed to go off almost randomly, something that she would eventually have as well in the future due to being exposed to it at such a young age. Eventually when she grew to the age of 19 Envy was forced to leave the tribe due to an agreement he had made before she was born, leaving Zora to raise their only child alone.

Life after that seemed to have a lot of ups for the little Kitsune and she became quite the friendly little Zorua who also showed enthusiasm when it came to learning to fight. Sadly this didn’t last for too long as larger in her life, just before she was going to evolve into a Zoroark, her tribe was attacked. They called themselves the Army of Aura, a large group of Pokémon who slaughtered those where had abnormal abilities in an attempt to keep balance to all species. Kitsune and some other Zoruas managed to escape undetected although she was forced to leave her mother behind. Zora was latter assumed dead by most including Kitsune after a while.

The small group of survivors never did last long, most of the Zoroarks who had escaped were elderly, sick, or injured and the Zoruas were quite weak. Most of them were killed off by stronger Pokémon, illness, or hunger. In a desperate attempt to escape from the inevitable death that awaited her Kitsune ran away from the group at night, eventually being found by a small family of normal Zoroarks who took her in. A members of this family was their son Rusty, the two Zoruas became very close friends and eventually became mates once they evolved and moved out.

Despite the happiness that came with this it never did last long just as before. Rusty and Kitsune decided to have child with Kitsune later giving birth to two sons which they named Berry and Eclipse. Berry was a runt and was quite sickly from birth, a few months after his hatching he ended up dying while Rusty was out hunting and Kitsune was trying to get a few things for their sons to eventually play with. It took the family by shock and Kitsune always did blame the death of Berry on herself even if she and her mate knew it would happen eventually, she simply thought it wouldn’t be this soon.

Due to the death of Berry Kitsune became quite protective over Eclipse and refused to leave unless he was close to her. Her son did try to get some independence as he grew up and eventually Rusty had to convince her to let him do some things on his own. When their son was about 10 the family went out to teach him how to fight, though they weren’t expecting what was to come…

After about an hour the three were surrounded by very strange creatures, they were insect like yet also robotic, seeming almost nonliving at first. Before the family knew it the strange Pokémon began to attack them, Rusty and Kitsune tried desperately to protect their son though in an attempt to protect Eclipse Rusty ended up throwing himself in front of his son when one of the things launched a techno blast. Both Eclipse and Rusty ended up dying from the blast and Kitsune experienced one of her first major loss of control as she fought the things… Though when she was about to finish off the last one it ended up blasting her entire left arm off.

Close to death, Kitsune was found by a nearby trainer who had watched the fight in horror and was quickly brought to a Pokémon centre and was able to be saved at the last second. After almost eight months of recovering she was given a robotic arm and released into the wild.

The next 150 or so years had quite a bit happening with her, though most of it consisted of helping some people out and getting quite a few friends… And then eventually losing them due to her anger issues. Fast forward quite a bit, Kitsune was fighting against a group of dark type Pokémon who had attempted to attack her in her sleep. During the fight Kitsune she ended up finding a Sableye who seemed quite confused. Still quite frustrated the Zoroark ended up assuming it was from the group she was fighting and ended up attacking it almost immediately. Turns out the Sableye was not apart of the group but just some crazy guy who cursed a lot she eventually calmed down and talked with the paranoid Pokémon, soon learning his name to be Greed and eventually offering him to stay with her.

Kitsune and Greed has a pretty one sided friendship due to how hateful Greed was but it really didn’t stop her from trying to be nice to him. Eventually she welcomed another Pokémon into her home, a shiny Quilava by the name of Miako who had ran away from her abusive father, and became quite the… Odd trio. A few more thing happened, like Kitsune, Greed, and Miako all working to take down a group lead by a mentally unstable Serperior, though now she is simply staying with Greed and Miako awaiting to see what is next for them.

Kitsune is my oldest character with me having made her back when I was nine and roleplaying on Roblox games… Weird times

Kitsune’s original name was Darkless, which changed to Yami, and eventually became the Kitsune we know today

Kitsune has had two mates in the past who are now not cannon to the story I have going, Slice the Zangoose gijinka and Crafty the Zoroark… Both who ended up leaving her
