This is a very old and outdated bio that will eventually get a remake. Probably. Hopefully. Greed has since been aged up to 17, many parts of his backstory have been completely altered, and he has become an even more developed character. So, keep that in mind.

Greed takes on the name he was given to by his thieving group, the group has a naming things, examples being The Thief of Blood and The Thief of Shadows, this is mainly to give the members more intimidating names and to keep their real names hidden… Though for Greed’s case the main reason why he still goes by this name is because he has absolutely no idea what his real name is due to having been separated from his parents at a very young age

Personality

Greed is an… Interesting individual to say the least. Being raised the majority of his life by a group of thugs Greed really lacks any positive traits to his personality, the positive traits he does having being quite a stretch so it’s best to start off with the majority of his character. Greed is a flat out jerk, he’s very unempathic most of the time and claims to hate everyone which is true for most cases, even when he does try to care for others his jerkishness shines thru. He is also very well known for how curse happy he is and it is rare for him to finish a single sentence without using the word fuck at least once. Greed also finds pleasure in pissing others off and that is the main thing he’ll do when he’s bored… And let’s just say Greed claims to be bored a lot of the time.

He’ll commonly curse people off while insulting them just to get on their nerves so that he can just Shadow Sneak away and watch the chaos unfold and he surprisingly gets away with it most of the time. Despite being a very small creature he is very swift and is able to get around silently quite naturally as well as being quite skilled when it comes to using knives and daggers, this most likely being from his role as a thief. Usually when faced in a situation where he must get something on his own, like kill something for food as an example, he’s far more likely to steal something to get it done more quickly than to actually do what he is told.

Lastly is a very big aspect of his character and this being his grumpiness, something that really ties in well with how much of a jerk he is although he really haven’t been too grumpy until recently. The fact that he was transformed into by far his least favourite Pokémon, a Sableye, and that he is now forced into having to live with a cry baby Typhlosion and a Zoroark with anger issues really doesn’t make him the most pleasant person whatsoever. Now as for Greed’s positive traits…

There’s hardly anything to talk about here, Greed really has a lack of knowledge of love due to how quickly he was ripped away from his parents and how to his thief gang he was nothing more than a new member. When on the rare occasion that he actually is made to feel for others it really doesn’t go well, he actually becomes extremely awkward as he has absolutely no idea what to do and will usually avoid the person until he can come to hate them again. Though he has been shown to hold long relationships when pushed to it as shown by his relationship with Comet.. But due to old habits when faced with an event where he is able to support someone he’ll probably insult them, to quote one occasion “You’ve never given up on anything in your life so don’t stop you fucking piece of shit!”

If you really are looking to be this fucker’s friend, you’re better off looking for someone else because it’ll take A LOT to even get thru his hatred

Backstory

Greed was not always a Sableye as for the majority of his life he was actually a human. At a very young age his parents were murdered in a break in and he was taken away by the culprits, being raised by the group of thieves for the rest of his life and being trained by them. He became quite good at a young age, performing most tasks given to him with ease and becoming quite skilled with knives and despite his… Loud personality to say the least he was excellent at being silent and soundless when the time called for it.

With many successful attempts at stealing while not being detected by the age of 14 he was tasked with what would be one of the highest selling things he would obtained, a small white and black cape gemmed with rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. This was rumoured to be cursed but like most things Greed just didn’t give a flying fuck and proceeded to do it, stealing it with ease due to the low defences. Soon the elarms with off due to a small misstep and in a rush he ended up putting the thing on and getting out of there as quickly as possible. During the getaway one of the gems ended up stabbing itself his neck and eventually he had to slip into an alleyway to have a break. Turns out the rumour were turn and the cape was actually true and this somehow made him turn into a Sableye with him fainting shortly after the transformation.

Eventually he did wake up though in a completely different place, a forest. Shortly after this he was attacked by a Zoroark thinking that he was apart of a group that the Zoroark had just been battling with. Once the fox Pokémon had stopped trying to rip him apart she introduced herself to the freaked out Sableye as Kitsune, inviting for him to live with her seeing as he has nowhere to go and they’ve been friends ever since… Well by friends I mean a one sided friendship since Greed absolutely hates her, claiming her to be a psycho. Kitsune basically never took Greed’s opinion on matters (for good reason) and eventually brought another Pokémon into the picture, an abnormally small shiny Quilava named Miako. Another thing for him to sphage seeing as she was basically the literal definition of a crybaby even when she evolved into a Typhlosion.

There were very few noticeable events, mainly Greed being forced to meet new people because Kitsune loves making friends that’ll probably hate her by the time they see her trantrumps, though the most noticeable one was a Togekiss named Comet. Greed and Comet were extremely different personality wise though ended up bonding over the fact that they were both once human, even if they only were meeting because Kitsune agree to help the bird Pokémon out with “calming down” a ruthless Serperior. Over time while facing against these Pokémon lead by the Serperior they eventually got into a final battle, one where the army and the Serperior himself were in it. Greed ended up making his way towards the Serperior to end it once and for all despite Comet’s protests and after engaging in battle with the Serperior he ended it’s life with a slash across the throat, ending it and making Comet quite disappointed in him for whatever reason. After that Greed is still staying with Miako and Kitsune complaining about how bad his life is, unaware to the fact that the Serperior was alive again.

Random Facts

Greed’s real name is actually Kyle though he never will know this seeing as he’s forgotten about it and he doesn’t have any family around to tell him it

Greed may or may not have romantic feelings towards Comet

He was originally designed to be a villain though I quickly changed him into the grumpy jerk he is today since the idea was stupid

The goggles he wears don’t really hold any significant importance, they were just something he stole when working with some other members of the thief group and thought they were cool so just kept on wearing them. It became a significant thing that police would use to attempt to identify him, yet he still wore them anyways
