Profile

"There is no reason to fight back. I am provided for here and all the rest does not matter. Would you not appreciate feeling some level of importance?"

Laeseth walked many paths during his lifetime on Alaitoc. He had been assigned to a vessel bound for a Crone world for research purposes. During the travel the craft was attacked by Dark Eldar raiders from the city of Commorragh. The raiders took most of the ship's occupants captive to be used as slaves in the dark city. Fortunately or unfortunately, Laeseth drew the interest of a Haemonculus by the name of Y'sezzron. So instead of being taken to a pleasure den or a gladitorial arena he was brought on as a house pet of sorts for the personal amusement of himself and his cousin Drekhal'set. Some mild experimentation was performed on him during his first meeting with Y'sezzron where he was drugged by the drink he had been offered and received the unusual traits of a Catachan Death ferret's ears and a Fenrsian wolf's tail in the process. After his recovery he was taken to view some of the combat at one of the gladitorial arenas as if he were a pet attending an event with his master. Little did he know that Y'sezzron had been monitoring his vital statistics the whole time for later plans to befall his newfound play thing. It was at the arena that he was given the name "Sin" as an alias (or "slave name") until his masters felt comfortable with using his real name.

WRACK EXPERIMENT SCENE: [UNDER CONSTRUCTION, trying to remember the details... (This is where he met Ton)]

As a reward for assisting Y'sezzron during his medical operations/experiments Laeseth was set up with his own private room in the house's servant quarter. He found out at this point that Ton had been assigned to his room and was now to be his meal and comfort bringer. Even though the room was plain and lacked a door it did have a feeling of home which was completed with the appearance of his familiar Gyrinx named Belkyn. At first Belkyn had to be kept a secret since the feline had somehow managed to sneak into the stronghold, but it wasn't long until Y'sezzron found out. While the Gyrinx still had to remain a secret luxury, the Dark Eldar approved of his keeping Belkyn and even made a box for the creature to stay in so that he would no longer have to be kept in an area above the room that was considerably dangerous for both he and Laeseth. After the Eldar had gotten used to his new living situation Drekhal'set, impressed by his medical expertise, decided to assign him to working on his Incubus initiates who injured themselves during the beyond rigorous training.

Drekhal'set wanting to further utilize his skills decided to have Laeseth accompany him and Y'sezzron on a raid. During the course of the raid the anti-gravity skiff he was on got shot down taking him out of the safety of the air and into the combat on the ground. Once on the ground he attempted to defend himself, having a little success but due to his poor training in combat Laeseth left himself open and was wounded by a flanking manuever that severed his leg. Afterwards he lost consciousness and his next memories were of waking in Y'sezzron's laboratory. He awoke in disorientation and upon leaving the operation table he found himself in a state of confusion, but at least he had his leg back. Everything around him appeared to be quite larger than it was before. Everyone was taller and his surroundings seemed to tower over him now. This is when he discovered that he had been physically regressed to a child-like state. This was Y'sezzron's plan the whole time, considering he had been keeping close check on Laeseth's vitals since their first experimental encounter.

To show off his regenerative breakthrough Y'sezzron took Laeseth to a party hosting several other elite members of the city. The true purpose behind Laeseth's transformation was to advertise Y'sezzron's capabilities (and create a more vulnerable and adorable pet for himself in the process). During the party Y'sezzron got distracted and his home was also attacked, and in the confusion Laeseth was kidnapped by one of the party-goers. His captor kept him locked in a golden cage like a prized animal, feeding him from a bowl similar to a dog bowl. Here Laeseth chose to starve himself and after a couple of days had passed and he was at his limits, Drekhal'set infiltrated the thief's home. Destroying it in the process of recovering his property.

After the rescue it was decided that Laeseth needed to learn how to defend himself, at least a little bit. So Drekhal'set relocated Laeseth to his Incubi temple where not only would he be a medic but also receive training. Here he was shown secret passages from the arena to the household and hidden troves of weapons. He was also explained the plan of them breaking away from the current kabal and making their own. While his trainings were in effect he was to perform a rite of passage as an official Incubi and earn his horned headress. During this final trial he was placed in an arena with a drugged individual who tried his best to survive against the tiny combatant. Had it not been for the mishap of the person slipping and practically landing on Laeseth's spear he may not have actually won. When the lights came on, revealing his opponent, Laeseth was appalled to find one of his own, an Eldar at the tip of his spear. He was scarred with guilt for his actions...

At this point, the plans have been put into play for the disbandment of the kabal in which Y'sezzron and Drekhal'set were under for them to continue on with their own kabal.
