personality ~ magic is modest and a people person, he's almost never not upbeat and cheerful, even if he isn't feeling up to it. he sacrifices his own genuine happiness for others, which forces him to internalize a lot of his own struggles and emotions. he often acts as a mediator for his friend's conflicts and is difficult to anger, although his sister jupiter tends to push him to his limits. when he's at his lowest he tends to snap at others and say things he doesn't mean, so during these periods he purposefully self isolates.

other ~ magic and his twin sister jupiter grew up in an orphanage together after being abandoned by their caretakers. theyve both been heavily effected by their childhoods, but it shows in magic a lot more than it does in jupiter. he's taken the safer approach in moving on with his life, and lives in a camper in the city. he makes money as a street magician, with the help of his eccentric rabbitlike friend shad and his strange abilities. he attends community college in pursuit of making extra money on the road to his dream career. 

the night he turned 18, magic snuck out of his orphanage to buy himself a bowtie, which would be the start of his dream to become a professional stage magician. without his knowledge, jupiter snuck out as well and followed him. she buys a bowtie for each of them, oblivious to her brother's annoyance, and since then they've had matching ones as "something to remember eachother by". magic doesn't like feeling as if he's permanently attached to his sister, but even despite that it's very sentimental to him.
