Kirin Tam was charged to become the ward of a dhampir child. Her master was always finding himself ill and hurt despite being half vampire. Not being able to protect his human mother during a rouge vampire attack, the poor half breed had no more family left once his father sent him out to adventure on his own, blaming him for his own mothers demise. With his weaknesses, perhaps the vampire father hoped his son would perish in a way similar to his mother. Over time, she slowly malfunctioned due to always being left on for the company of her master. Seeing how ruthless other pure vampires can be to humans, the dhampir saw nothing wrong with her change and soon started hunting vampires who harmed humans for sport as his new destiny with his malfunctioned Medi-Borg faithfully at his side, forever more.
