About
When he was young his soul was bound to a nightmare beast, cursing him to turn into a ferocious creature out of his control. He spent most of his life trying to rid himself of the curse, studying all different forms of magic, until he was eventually hunted down and killed. Obviously, it wasn't the end for him. The beast bound to his soul held on, and between his magic and will, was able to reform a new body and return to the world of the living.
