Bastet

Bastet is the Egyptian Goddess of Fertility, Childbirth, and the home. She's also a cat. Which of course means the world revolves around her and her mischievous whims. Fickle, Flirty, and Fond of Fish, she rules over Lucius's temple with a fuzzy fist. Over thousands of years her and Lucius have been friends, enemies, lovers, casual partners, sparring opponents, master and apprentice, but mostly a pain in his behind. Still, her tutelage has paid off, and now Lucius is (almost) as arrogant, self-indulgent, and mischevious as she is. She couldn't be prouder. 

 She was born as Sekhmet, the lioness goddess of wrath that would inflict the God's punishments on the Egyptian people. However, thanks to a certain mortal from America, she was tamed and settled down as Bastet, cat goddess. Her new form is playful and fun-loving but still has a sharp edge to it. More loyal to cats than humans but she takes her role as protector of the Egyptian hearth and home seriously. She's vicious against unmarried girls as she views them as competition, but has a soft spot for mothers and does everything in her power to help all the moms of Egypt. She has a soft, warm maternal side to her that can be comapssionate and nurturing. Men, on the other hand, are just things to be toyed with. One of her favorite pastimes is watching them squirm. 

   Personality: 

- literally a cat 

- deviously mischievous, loves screwing around with mortals. Tosses curses around like candy 

- being a goddess of fertility, she's very flirty, often acting seductively even when not looking for intimacy. 

- LOVES fish. She can just magic them into existence or use the many offerings made to her by the Egyptians. Other cats, however, have to brave their worst fear to get them. (water) She 100% did that on purpose and enjoys their suffering 

- Has a nurturing, maternal side as well. She's very protective of mothers and children, as well as homes. She keeps them safe and has Lucius fight off demons and other evil entities that prowl the night. 

- Also enjoys sleeping and hunting for men
