| Backstory: "Benjamin was the result of a Native American woman and a white man, it was less than consensual. Similar to Hattie, he grew up with no parents as his mother abandoned him. However, he lived on the streets instead. When he was young, he developed blindness in his right eye due to a kick to the eye, which caused it to become a milky white color and became permanently blind, so he hid it. Because of his upbringing, he developed a dark and powerful persona and quickly became an outlaw. Despite being an outlaw, he fell in love at one point, where he planned to wed, but that was cut short when a rival gang shot down his soon-to-be wife. This turned him into an even more emotionless and cold person and vowed to never lose a loved one again. After he helped Hattie hide from bounty hunters, they grew close, forming a small gang of sorts." |
